Nurses, Teachers, Military Spouses… Thank You!

Teacher Appreciation Week, Nurse Appreciation, Military Spouse Appreciation and Sunday brings Mother’s Day. Seriously. All rolled up in one week. Pretty sure teachers and nurses deserve their own week all to themselves. If not an entire month.

Perhaps we can rename this “National People We Don’t Thank, Pay or Respect Nearly as Much as We Should Week.” Welp, it is what it is. So…

All you nurses out there saving lives, comforting patients and families, and keeping doctors in check, thank you!

All you teachers, especially the underpaid, who teach and often parent a room full of feral children, thank you.

To all the military spouses out there holding down the fort, raising a family, and keeping your service member grounded, thank you.

Thank you for all you do. All the things in your job description and everything above and beyond. I wish I could treat each and every one of you to a coffee, spa day and case of wine. Lord knows you deserve it and so much more!
